Jacob Turnage and EB Corporate Go Green

Jacob Turnage and the EB Corporate team pride themselves on being hard working professionals who know the value of a solid relationship. Their dedication to getting the smallest details right, is what has made them today’s leading sports entertainment and hospitality firm. For Jacob Turnage and EB Corporate getting it right also means a focus on the environment and being green.

Jacob Turnage and EB Corporate believe that undertaking green initiatives is not just a positive but a must.  Their commitment to going green started small and has grown as their business has grown.  For EB Corporate the decision to be a better world citizen began with the simple choice to print all documents, brochures and information on recycled paper.  As the company has grown, they have moved beyond recycled paper and have developed ways to become a truly paperless office. The combination of advanced technology and an eye to eliminating wasteful practices as helped Jacob Turnage and EB Corporate fully embrace the paperless trend.

The focus on an eco-friendly work environment has lead EB Corporate to select a new office location that will help them to meet their goals. “When selecting our new corporate facility, we wanted a location that was easily accessible for our staff,” says Jacob Turnage, co-founder and Vice President of Marketing for EB Corporate.  The location they chose is near Atlanta’s public transportation line, the MARTA.  A quick walk from the nearby station eliminates the need to drive to the office.  “Whenever possible we encourage our employees to either take public transportation or to carpool. Making simple changes to our daily habits will deliver long term impact to the world around us,” explains Jacob Turnage.

Another draw of the new location is the advantage it offers to the EB Corporate internship program.   EB corporate has established successful internship programs with both Georgia Tech and Georgia State Universities. Their new corporate facility is within walking distance of both campuses eliminating the need for students to drive to their internship.  The close proximity also opens the internship up to students who do not have their own transportation.

Going green is something many of us are trying to accomplish. Jacob Turnage and EB Corporate are doing their part to lessen their carbon footprint. As EB Corporate continues to grow, they will be looking for new ways to positively impact the environment and the communities in which they operate.†
